Sometimes you can find yourself in the wrong relationship, such as one of understanding where you have assisted the other person financially. Initially, most are guarded and protective about the information they share, but the wall falls. Most think nothing of it because the situation is comfortable and easy. Ironically, they do all they can to ensure their spouse never learns of this individual. Still, the same protection is not offered to the spouse.
Ending the relationship is tricky. You elevated the person's financial standing and pulled the rug from underneath them. You do not realize the person might have saved for a rainy day, garnering details of your home life and employment. Photos or videos without your knowledge; you do not know.
