Help With Facebook Blackmail

Who are the Facebook blackmailers and Instagram sextortionist? They are crews from the Philippines, Cote D'Ivoire, Mali, and Morocco. Their tactics are similar, but their aggression differs. Let's talk about the set up first; these characters work online on various social sites but mainly Facebook and Instagram. The reason is that they can easily extract friends and followers.

Facebook and Instagram blackmail begins when a stranger friends you or follows you on a social site. The most dangerous part of the scam takes place before the alleged fun. The blackmailer asks questions and slyly extracts personal data. Unfortunately, by meeting on a social site, they already pulled the connections.

After the extortionist is confident, they have secured your data; they will suggest moving the conversation to Facebook Messenger, Skype, WhatsApp, or Google Hangouts; all medium that provides video. When the camera clicks on, she will be in something seductive and will explain that her audio does not work. You are preoccupied and think nothing of the lack of audio. The fun begins, and she suggests you indulge yourself, which brings you to the downfall.

The blackmailer will message you with proof of compromised content and slam you with the identities of people you know. You are now a victim of Facebook Blackmail or Instagram Sextortion. They will demand X amount of dollars, or they will expose you. Knees buckle, queasy, and in shock, you do not know what to do. Initially, one thinks to pay, hoping the criminal will keep their word. It will never happen; pay once, and they keep coming back.  Another thought is to ignore the situation, do not. It will not magically disappear. If the blackmailer cannot contact you, they might reach out to family or friends.

You should act quickly and delete or turn all social media private. Take inventory of what the blackmailer knows, like your mobile, email, family, followers, or employment. All of these items need to be protected.

The question is, do blackmailers expose; some do and do not. The Moroccans are aggressive and tend to post content on websites. If someone types your name into a search engine, it will appear in the results. The Philippines and Cote D'Ivoire crew are extremely aggressive and will make your life miserable. There is no reason to go at it alone; help is available. Plus, there are strategies and tactics to protect your identity, prevent exposure, and rid yourself of a blackmailer.
